'Cricket'
Cricket is our first show dog, and our first AKC Champion. She is also an AKC Canine Good Citizen, and has been certified as a Therapy Dog by Therapy Dogs International.
Cricket and I received our training from the experts at "Peaceable Paws" located in Fairplay, Maryland using positive reinforcement and rewards for correct behavior. Many thanks to Pat Miller and Shirley Greenlief for getting us started in the right direction! And, in order to prepare for her AKC Canine Good Citizenship test and her Therapy Dog International test, Cricket and I received training and great tips from Anne Davis and Lee-Ann at Rudy's Friends in Vienna, VA. Thank you both!
Cricket's entry was accepted to The Westminster Club Show at Madison Square Garden in NYC for the 2011 show! We were thrilled and honored to be able to show at this "champions only" confirmation event! Here is a short video of her showing at the Garden.
